A Call for Just Immigration Policy
Migration involves loss and hope. That’s probably why it is a quintessential experience of the Christian faith, from Sarah to Ruth to God entering human existence in the form of a child who had to flee persecution.
Our lives are connected to ancestors: abuelas, and madres who left lands to protect their children and pursue dreams. And our stories are connected to lands and antepasados that have welcomed people for ages.
Mobility is part of human existence and is as natural as the flow of water. In harmony with creation and the native people of the land, people have a right to remain in a land or migrate to another one for well-being or safety.
Join us in telling Congress we believe in immigration policies that honor the God-given dignity of every person, protect family unity, and promote thriving communities.
