Immigration Mondays: Join us to pray and act

Join us on the last Monday of every month at 7 p.m. ET for prayer and action in support of our immigrant community. RSVP for Immigration Mondays below to receive a zoom meeting link and password!

During Immigration Mondays, we will learn how we can join the efforts of coalitions lead by immigrant people and DACAmented people, coalitions fighting for the rights of undocumented and under-documented communities, including DACA recipientsWe re-imagine our immigration system.

What you can expect from our conversations:

  • Latest updates on legislation, policy, and priorities from people impacted by our immigration system. There will be time to ask questions about these updates.
  • Opportunities for timely action to:
    • Advocate for pathways to citizenship for the 11 million undocumented and under-documented immigrant people who are home in the United States.
    • Strategize around protecting the right to seek asylum.
    • Advocate for more humane detention and deportation practices that honor the God-given dignity of every person.
    • Fight against systemic racism and over-policing in our immigration system and in our societies, centering the experiences and demands of Black immigrant people and undocumented immigrant people.
  • Tools for advocacy and mobilizing:
    • Training to write Letters to the Editors
    • Support to set up meetings with members of Congress
    • Social media toolkits to invite others to take action
  • Opportunities to share your efforts to seek justice for our immigrant community, both the celebrations and the struggles.

We know there are people who will join this call across a wide range of experience in advocacy and seeking justice, and welcome all of you to provide your insights and ask questions as we continue to work for justice alongside our immigrant and DACAmented siblings.

We will end each call in prayer for the Holy Spirit to continue to carry our work for justice.
