A Call to Christians in a Crisis of Faith and Democracy
Ash Wednesday invites us to tell the truth: we are dust—and we are responsible for what we do with the breath God gives us. In a moment when cruelty is being normalized, rights are being stripped, and the language of faith is being used to bless domination, Christians cannot treat silence as neutrality.
This virtual vigil is a gathering for prayer, lament, and moral clarity—rooted in the sovereignty of God over every system and ruler, and in Jesus’ way of truth, mercy, and neighbor-love without exception. We will ask what faithfulness requires now, and we will commit ourselves again to a public witness that defends the vulnerable, rejects dehumanization, and pursues justice and peace.
Join us to pray, repent, and resist—together, on February 18th at 8PM ET.
