Since then, Netanyahu has met with his cabinet to reaffirm his goals for complete military control of the Gaza Strip despite international calls to end the war. 22,000 aid trucks sit at the border crossings waiting to deliver aid. Desperation grows, with people risking their lives to obtain what little food is available. Family members are now looking for their missing loved ones at aid sites targeted by Israeli soldiers–36 people were killed on Monday while seeking aid. The UN estimates that over 28,000 children are currently suffering from severe acute malnutrition, 20,000 cases needing hospitalization.
