Many of us are feeling it: the pressures of this moment are not only political, but spiritual. The stories we tell about who belongs, who matters, and what is “normal” are being shaped—often by fear, money, and power. This March, Sojourners invites you into two online gatherings to tell the truth, return to the heart of the gospel, and practice courage together. 

Join us this week

In a time of widening inequality, concentrated wealth doesn’t just sit quietly in the background—it shapes public life, policy, and the stories we’re told about what’s possible. This conversation will examine the mega-rich through a spiritual lens, naming the consequences of extreme wealth for those who don’t possess it and the ways it can deform those who do, while asking what faithful witness and liberation might look like for rich and poor alike—and everyone in between—when wealth becomes dangerous and dehumanizing. 

Misogynoir—anti-Black sexism—shows up not only in society, but in the life of the church: in who is believed, who is protected, whose leadership is affirmed, and whose pain is minimized. Join us as we name misogynoir as both a theological and structural problem—and imagine gender justice as a spiritual practice—staying grounded in joy not as escape or performance, but as spiritual anchoring and a refusal to let oppression dictate the terms of our humanity, our worship, or our future.
